The need to apply new approaches to organizational
excellence in Iran's petrochemical industry, the role of the Excellence Award
in promoting Iran's value-added petrochemical industry, the universal applications
of the EFQM model, how to design EFQM and the reasons for changing the EFQM
model in the new version based on global super trends were the topics
considered during the event.
Also, at the first International Conference on
Organizational Excellence, Prof. Hans Schneider, advisor to the CEO of the BMW
Group and a member of the faculty of the EFQM, Dr. Buml, the European Quality
Management Officer, and Dr. Marcus Gardov, the CEO of the German Institute for
Quality Management Services, delivered speeches.
One of the most important programs of this specialized
meeting was signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the National
Petrochemical Company and the German Institute for Quality Management Services
in providing formal training for the Iranian petrochemical industry.
In general, the EFQM model promotes the growth and
development process in the petrochemical industry in 9 criteria: leadership,
strategy, employees, business partners and interests, processes, customer
results, employee results, community results and key performance results
simultaneously.
