According to the company, Seyed Reza Ghasemi Shahri told
reporters on Sunday: "Currently, due to the efforts of employees, workers
and executives of this complex and increase production, we do not need to
import polyethylene terephthalate products and grades anymore."
He said last calendar year (which ended on March 20) the
company realized 87% of its production plan; a figure which is expected to
reach 95% in the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.
Mr. Shahri added that over the course of the past two years,
dozens of projects have been implemented in the company including localization
of the manufacturing of its air compressors.
“We plan to fully materialize our production plan by 2022,”
he said.
