The exhibit opened this morning (Monday, February 7) in the
presence of Mr. Owji, members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly,
ambassadors, deputy ministers of petroleum for petrochemical affairs and
petrochemical industry owners and industrialists at the Tehran International
Fairgrounds.
430 domestic and foreign companies from China, Taiwan and
Italy have partaken in the event which is being held in 9 special halls in four
commodity groups of raw materials, machinery, products and technical and
engineering services.
Simultaneous with the physical version of the fair, Iran Plast
Virtual Exhibition will be open for one month for the participants and visitors
who are unable to physically attend the showcase.
In addition, 17 specialized meetings and workshops in the
field of downstream petrochemical and polymer industries are planned on the
sidelines of the exhibit. Also, 300 foreign businessmen from 15 countries are
scheduled to attend the international event.
Iran Plast exhibition will be held in full observance of
health protocols and the slogan of "global business" in 20,000 square
meters of indoor halls and 2,500 square meters of open space from February 7 to
10, from 8 to 15 in the permanent fairgrounds of Tehran.
