Iran Plast held with Exhibitors from 5 Continents despite Bans

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The director of Iran Plast International Exhibition said: "The 15th edition of this exhibition is being held despite the oppressive sanctions against Iran's oil industry, in the presence of a large number of companies, traders and representatives of foreign countries from five continents."

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 15th Iran Plast International Exhibition on Monday, Ayub Benavi said: “The 15th Iran Plast International Exhibition, which is the largest polymer exhibition in the Middle East, is being held with the participation of 430 domestic and foreign companies from 15 countries, despite the harsh sanctions and the coronavirus pandemic.”

He added: "This year, Iran Plast is hosting companies and political and trade delegations from Italy, China, Brazil, Hungary, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan and Iraq, with the cooperation of the international department of NPC.”

Benavi continued: "It is so important that despite the oppressive sanctions against the country's oil industry, today we still see a large presence of companies, businessmen and representatives of foreign countries from five continents."
