According to Petropars Group, Amirshahram Zaman, pointing out that
this operation was started following the conclusion of a contract with Padjam
Polymer Development Company, said: “According to the work description of the
mentioned contract, this petrochemical complex will be completed within 18
months and with measures such as activities of monitoring pre-commissioning
operations, implementation of startup operations, startup and quality
performance testing are carried out by POMC.”
He stated that the complex was built on a land of 15 hectares in the
2nd phase of the Pars Special Energy Economic Zone in Asaluyeh, southern Iran,
and stated that by operating this complex, about 200,000 metric tons of ABS and
about 60,000 metric tons of rubber are produced annually, and the significant
withdrawal of hard currency from the country will be prevented.
POMC is one of the few experienced and capable Iranian companies in
the field of pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation of upstream and
downstream complexes of the oil and gas industry.
