The deals were signed by PRTC with various
domestic and foreign partners in the presence of Morteza Shahmirzai, deputy oil
minister and managing director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC).
PRTC signed a contract to provide a license for
producing propylene from methanol with Setareh Parsian Company, a tripartite
agreement on research, design, construction, commissioning and operation of an
HSFCC unit with Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute and a cooperation
agreement on design and construction of decanter centrifuges for petrochemical
industries with Hamgam Sanat Ista Ahvaz Company.
PRTC also signed a cooperation agreement on
marketing and providing technical and engineering services in the field of
technical knowledge of processes and catalysts for oil, gas, refining and
petrochemical industries with Shimi Baft Company, a cooperation agreement on
providing technical knowledge and preparing a process design and basic
engineering package for constructing a unit consisting of two heavy
polyethylene lines with an annual capacity of 310,000 tons with Kian
Petrochemical Company and a tripartite research cooperation memorandum on
developing technical knowledge for producing butadiene from butane and
commercializing it with Raman Petrochemical Innovators Development Company and
Tadbir Energy Development Group.
