As the 17th Iran Plast International Exhibition
approaches, Morteza Shahmirzaei, on the eve of this significant event,
underlined the vital factors contributing to the growth and development of the
petrochemical industry. These factors include the completion of the value chain
and the creation of added value to maximize investment opportunities.
The Deputy Minister of Petroleum and CEO of the National
Petrochemical Company highlighted that one of the strategic policies of the
National Petrochemical Company is the advancement of technology within the
downstream petrochemical industries.
He added that a key aspect of establishing a value chain
system is the focus on technology transfer through domestic production and the
development of Iranian technical expertise.
He stated, "To facilitate the path of petrochemical
industry development, it is imperative to consider various factors, with the
identification of the genuine needs of downstream industries within the country
and a focus on export capabilities being among the most critical."
The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company underscored
that hosting the Iran Plast Exhibition, as the largest event in the
complementary and intermediate petrochemical industries of the country, could
play an effective role in enhancing interaction and improving the
infrastructure of this industry. This will help create a more conducive
business environment and address potential obstacles and challenges in the path
of balanced development.
The 17th Iran Plast International Exhibition,
with a focus on developing the value chain, supporting domestic production, and
promoting local manufacturing, will be held from September 17 to 20 in the
permanent exhibition grounds of Tehran International Exhibitions.
