According to Badr-e-Shargh Petrochemical Company,
Behzad Ansari, during the visit of the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and the CEO
of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) to projects located in the Makran
Petrochemical Complex, revealed that the initial phase of the Methanol
production project from natural gas, with an annual capacity of one million and
650,000 tons, has reached a 65% operational advancement status.
Highlighting the ongoing execution of the
Methanol Unit at Badr-e-Shargh Petrochemical, situated in the Chabahar region
since 2015, Ansari anticipated the unit's completion with an investment of €480
million by late 2025 or early 2026.
The Managing Director specified that the
project's investor and stakeholder is the Commercial Investment Company of
Shastaan.
The remarkable progress in the Methanol Unit at
Badr-e-Shargh Petrochemical stands as a testament to Iran's petrochemical
industry's continual growth and advancement, contributing significantly to the
nation's industrial landscape.
