Farhad Nobakht, senior adviser to the CEO of Urmia Petrochemical in
production and operations, said that with the installation and operation of the
compactor, the product output of the unit would increase to 120 tonnes per day.
He said that all the stages of installation and operation of the
equipment were done by the company’s internal experts and that the potassium
sulfate product would be produced and supplied to domestic and foreign markets
with much higher quality.
He added that Urmia Petrochemical recently won a 20,000-tonne tender
for the sale of potassium sulfate fertilizer from the Agricultural Support
Services Organization and would make every effort to produce a much higher
quality product than before.
