NPC Signs Agreements to Develop Petchem, Refinery Projects in Lavan, Parsian Regions

TEHRAN (NIPNA) - The National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) signed cooperation agreements on Saturday to organize petrochemical and refinery projects in the Lavan Special Economic Zone and the Parsian Energy Zone on the sidelines of the 28th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition.

The agreements for cooperation in organizing petrochemical and refinery projects in the Lavan Special Economic Zone and the Parsian Energy Zone were signed between Morteza Shahmirzai, the CEO of the NPC, and Mozaffar Nia, the head of IMIDRO, on the final day of the twenty-eighth International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition.

The twenty-eighth International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, themed "Oil Industry; Production Leap, Technological Optimization," was held for four days at the Tehran International Exhibition Center starting from Thursday, May 8.

More than 1,750 Iranian and foreign companies participated in this major oil event across various sectors, including upstream oil and gas companies, domestic manufacturers, midstream and downstream gas industries, refining and petrochemical companies, technology parks, universities, startups, and other companies related to the oil industry.
