The statement, released by the Government Information Office,
expressed deep condolences over the tragic incident, which also claimed the
lives of Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Tabriz Friday Imam
Ayatollah Al-Hashem, and East Azerbaijan Governor Malek Rahmati, among others.
"In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful,
From among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant
with Allah; of them some have completed their vow and some of them still wait,
and they have not changed in the least.
On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn
Musa al-Ridha (AS), the noble spirit of the servant of the Iranian nation,
Ayatollah Raisi, ascended to the heavens. Our tireless and dedicated President,
who never wavered in his commitment to the great people of Iran, stood firm in
his vow and sacrificed his life for the nation.
The Islamic Republic of Iran's Cabinet offers its deepest condolences
over the heart-wrenching helicopter crash that claimed the lives of our beloved
President Ayatollah Raisi, our diligent Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein
Amir-Abdollahian, Tabriz Imam Ayatollah Al-Hashem, East Azerbaijan Governor Dr.
Malek Rahmati, and their esteemed companions. We extend our sympathies to the
Imam of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance), the Supreme Leader, and the
noble Iranian nation.
We assure our loyal and appreciative people that the proud and
dedicated path of service will continue, inspired by the tireless spirit of our
heroic and loyal President Raisi. With God's help and the support of our
honorable people, there will be no disruption in the diligent management of the
country."
The statement underscores the government's commitment to maintaining
stability and continuing the legacy of President Raisi’s devoted service to the
nation.
