Hassan Abbaszadeh, NPC’s Director of Planning and Development, stated
that the petrochemical industry in Iran encompasses a range of sectors from
upstream to downstream, including oil, gas, and various active downstream
industries involved in final product production, significantly contributing to
the country’s economic development.
Abbaszadeh highlighted that the IPF conference is a critical platform
for stakeholders to enhance the value chain of this significant industrial
sector. He emphasized that the added value from this gathering lies in
augmenting the knowledge and capabilities of domestic industries.
This year’s conference, themed "Clean Technologies," aims to
open new avenues for Iran’s petrochemical industries. Key topics for discussion
will include emerging technologies, carbon management, and value chain
development.

According to NIPNA, the 15th International Petrochemical Industry
Conference will be hosted by the National Petrochemical Company on August 4-5,
2024, at the IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran, focusing on
"Clean Technologies."
