According to NIPNA, the forum will bring together experts,
practitioners, academics, and researchers from around the world to Tehran. This
year's theme, "Clean Technology," will focus on key topics such as
carbon management in the petrochemical sector, value chain completion,
investment and financing, water and electricity management, and logistics and
supply chain management for goods and equipment. These subjects will be
explored in depth through specialized panels with the participation of industry
professionals.
The exhibition, held concurrently with the forum, will
provide a platform for petrochemical industry players to display their
achievements and potential across various booths. This interactive segment of
the event will allow industry stakeholders to present their advancements and
capacities.
Iran's petrochemical industry, with an annual nominal
production capacity approaching 100 million tonnes, is one of the largest
sectors in the country and the region. Iranian petrochemical products are
exported worldwide, contributing significantly to the economy. In recent years,
the industry has generated annual foreign exchange earnings between $12 billion
and $16 billion. In the first three months of the current year alone, exports
from the petrochemical sector have surpassed $3 billion.
The 15th Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF), hosted by the
National Petrochemical Company, will take place at the IRIB Conference Center
on August 4-5, 2024, under the central theme of "Clean Technology."
