During a recent meeting to address the challenges facing the Dehloran
petrochemical project, Shahmirzai emphasized the importance of the public as
the primary asset of the state, asserting that officials must strive to serve
the people and resolve their issues.
The official further announced that €100 million has been allocated from
the National Development Fund for the Dehloran petrochemical facility.
He highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach to launching the
Dehloran petrochemical facility, noting that some components of this initiative
depend on the National Iranian Oil Company. He stressed that ensuring feedstock
for the petrochemical complex is also tied to the development of regional oil
fields.
Shahmirzai underscored the importance of completing the NGAL 3100
project in Dehloran, pointing out existing challenges within certain segments
of this supply chain that need to be addressed to achieve the desired
objectives.
He called for focused efforts on upstream petrochemical projects,
particularly the development of shared oil and gas fields. Shahmirzai added
that improving gas production in these fields would facilitate the collection
of associated gases, playing a crucial role in advancing ongoing projects.
