TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The Deputy Petroleum Minister and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, Morteza Shahmirzai, stated that the completion of the Dehloran petrochemical project necessitates a series of coordinated actions.

During a recent meeting to address the challenges facing the Dehloran petrochemical project, Shahmirzai emphasized the importance of the public as the primary asset of the state, asserting that officials must strive to serve the people and resolve their issues.

The official further announced that €100 million has been allocated from the National Development Fund for the Dehloran petrochemical facility.

He highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach to launching the Dehloran petrochemical facility, noting that some components of this initiative depend on the National Iranian Oil Company. He stressed that ensuring feedstock for the petrochemical complex is also tied to the development of regional oil fields.

Shahmirzai underscored the importance of completing the NGAL 3100 project in Dehloran, pointing out existing challenges within certain segments of this supply chain that need to be addressed to achieve the desired objectives.

He called for focused efforts on upstream petrochemical projects, particularly the development of shared oil and gas fields. Shahmirzai added that improving gas production in these fields would facilitate the collection of associated gases, playing a crucial role in advancing ongoing projects.
