In a message addressed to oil industry personnel, Paknejad emphasized
that the survival and prosperity of Iran's oil industry are indebted to the
dedication and resilience of its current and former employees.
He highlighted the industry's contribution to providing economic
stability and security for the nation during turbulent times.
"You, the steadfast staff of the oil industry, have maintained
one of the world's most extensive networks of exploration, production,
development, and distribution through your unwavering commitment," Paknejad
stated. "In the toughest days, you upheld operations, safeguarded national
wealth, and proved to be the true capital and pride of Iran's oil sector."
Drawing on his 27 years of experience within the industry, Paknejad
acknowledged the various livelihood, administrative, and welfare challenges
faced by the workforce. He pledged to prioritize addressing these issues by
leveraging all legal capacities and fostering unity and collaboration among
employees.
"From the moment I received the parliament's vote of confidence,
I have considered myself your representative in the central building of the Oil
Ministry," he affirmed. "I am committed to tirelessly advocating for
your rightful demands and improving your professional and living
conditions."
Paknejad called for the support and cooperation of all industry
stakeholders to effectively tackle existing problems, emphasizing that progress
would be unattainable without collective effort and solidarity.
The minister concluded by reinforcing his identity as an integral part
of the oil industry community, asserting that striving to resolve personnel
issues is a fundamental duty rather than an extraordinary task.
Paknejad was appointed as Oil Minister following a vote of confidence
from Iran's parliament, succeeding his predecessor amid efforts to revitalize
and strengthen the country's vital oil sector.
