the way for AI integration in petrochemicals.
Maboudian advocated for small-scale smart projects to accelerate the
adoption of AI and improve organizational culture. He emphasized that
collaboration between knowledge-based companies and AI startups could
significantly enhance the industry's AI implementation.
The AI Commission's strategy includes concurrent efforts in
data-centric culture development, defining quick-win projects, sharing
experiences, and building processing and industrial data infrastructures.
Maboudian outlined several promising small-scale AI projects, such as
predictive maintenance, asset optimization, quality assurance, virtual sensors,
and knowledge management systems, which could serve as initial steps toward
broader AI integration.
