TEHRAN (NIPNA) - A workshop focusing on the testing of physical and mechanical properties of polymers was held on the fourth day of the 18th Iranplast International Exhibition.

The workshop took place today with the aim of comparing thermal analyses related to polymer resistance and quality. Emin Sahebi-Juybari, a polymer instructor and consultant for masterbatch and compound industries, led the session. Sahebi-Juybari emphasized the industry's shift towards polymers and artificial intelligence, noting the importance of understanding material properties and pricing as fundamental to industrial development.

During the workshop, Sahebi-Juybari detailed the significance of various tests, including melt flow index, rheology analysis, tensile strength, impact testing, thermal gravimetric analysis, and ash content for evaluating polymer materials.

The 18th Iranplast International Exhibition, which ran from September 8 to 11, featured 288 foreign and 525 domestic companies, showcasing innovations and developments in the plastics and petrochemical sectors.
