Olga Antonina, Sales Executive Director at Gazprom, made these remarks
during her visit to the 18th Iranplast International Exhibition. Antonina noted
that Gazprom, a major player in the oil and gas sector, also has extensive
operations in petrochemicals and plastics.
"We are pleased to be part of this international event and are
eager to begin discussions on potential contracts and commercial and industrial
collaborations with Iranian oil and petrochemical companies," Antonina
said.
She added that Gazprom had previously engaged in significant
collaborations with various European countries and is now aiming to leverage
the opportunities within Iran's petrochemical market.
Antonina revealed that Gazprom has already held discussions with
several prominent Iranian petrochemical companies, including Arya Sasol, Jam
Petrochemical Company, and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company. She
expressed optimism that these negotiations will lead to mutually beneficial
partnerships.
