According to a statement from the company’s public relations office,
Ansari revealed that eight heavy methanol unit exchangers, weighing over 650
tons, have been manufactured and transported by sea and land to the project
site in recent months. Preparations for their installation are now underway.
“These heat exchangers were fully designed and built using domestic
expertise, marking a significant milestone for the project,” Ansari stated. The
installation of these units is expected to accelerate the construction of the
methanol production unit at the Badr Sharq Petrochemical Complex.
The first phase of the complex, currently under construction in the
Makran Petrochemical Zone, Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone, will produce
1.65 million tons of methanol annually, supporting downstream petrochemical
industries.
