TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The annual health summit for Iran’s petrochemical industry leaders convened from January 7 to 8, bringing together representatives from over 50 petrochemical companies and major holding groups to exchange expertise and strategize on industrial health policies and challenges.

Organized by the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) division of the National Petrochemical Company and hosted by Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company, the event highlighted advancements and challenges in occupational health across the sector.

“This summit serves as a platform for introducing leading projects and sharing best practices, aiming to enhance industrial health standards and promote innovation within the petrochemical industry,” organizers said in a statement.

Key topics discussed during the two-day gathering included the integration of artificial intelligence in industrial health management, emergency response strategies for chemical incidents, and psychological considerations in control room design.

As a prominent player in the HSE sector, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company showcased its commitment to improving health standards by hosting the summit. The company's collaboration with the National Petrochemical Company underscored its dedication to advancing both national and international industrial health benchmarks.
