The company has also leveraged its existing infrastructure to supply critical technical expertise to several petrochemical projects, including heavy polyethylene plants in Tabriz and Bushehr, polypropylene production at Bid Boland, Pars Petrochemical, and methanol production at the Islamabad West project, as well as the Lorch Petrochemical Project.

PRTC has successfully carried out 25 pilot projects, with the linear low-density polyethylene plant at the Arak Center scheduled for launch by the end of 2025.

Promoting Innovation and Sustainable Development

Nohjah noted that there are currently 255 pieces of technical knowledge in the industry, and 99 catalysts are utilized in Iran’s oil sector. With the collaboration of knowledge-based companies, 95 of these catalysts have been localized.

He further highlighted PRTC’s ongoing efforts in carbon management and energy management, areas of particular focus for the company. Over the past few years, PRTC has finalized 80 contracts and agreements aimed at fostering further growth and innovation in the petrochemical sector.
