According to a statement from Urumieh Petrochemical, the company’s
revenue was generated from the sale of products including ammonium sulfate,
melamine crystal, potassium sulfate, and sulfuric acid. Since the beginning of
the fiscal year, the company has amassed total revenue of 170.7 trillion rials
($3.42 billion). The company's registered capital stands at 20 trillion rials
($400 million).
The February revenue was driven by strong sales in both domestic and
international markets. Over the first 11 months of the fiscal year, Urumieh
Petrochemical has achieved 93% of its total revenue target for the year.
The largest contributor to the company's monthly revenue was potassium
sulfate, which generated 15.6 trillion rials ($312 million), accounting for 69%
of total sales. The price of this product increased by 6% compared to the
previous month.
Following potassium sulfate, the second-largest revenue-generating
product was ammonium sulfate, with domestic sales contributing 4.6 trillion
rials ($92 million). This performance underscores the company’s success in
diversifying its product portfolio and target markets.
In February, Urumieh Petrochemical sold 9,047 tons of products in
domestic and international markets, representing a 69% increase compared to the
same period last year. Since the start of the fiscal year, the company has sold
a total of 71,606 tons of products. The top-selling product during the month
was ammonium sulfate, with 4,179 tons sold, accounting for 46% of total sales.
The strong sales performance reflects Urumieh Petrochemical’s
strategic market positioning and growing demand for its products in both local
and international markets.
